dwFoundationComponents

The library contains a threading abstraction, several data containers like list, vectors, fields and any storage. A highlight of the library is the multi main loop management with inter thread communication.
The key features:

  • Containers: vectors, lists, fields, any
  • Threading: thread objects, thread pools, synch objects like barriers, mutexes, signals and semaphores,  full customisable main loops and their management by ITC (inter thread communication)
  • Plug-in: thin interface of loadable plug-ins

dwRenderMan

This simple OpenGL rendering library provides an easy way to create applications with hardware acceleration. It also provides access to GL extensions.

 dwSceneGraph

The OpenGL scene graph contains render able nodes and collision detection.
The library also support the following key features:

  • appearance attributes blending, fog, materials, multi/ textures
  • entity/animation network for models like players, enemies, weapons and items
  • simple math library for transformation and interpolation calculations
  • 3DS, MD2 und MD3 file import
  • own binary and ASCII file format

dwWin32Components

The creation of native Win32 GUI applications is hard. This helper library provides some widgets like main/client windows and dialogs.

 dwXMLFactory
 A simple standalone DOM like xml parser and writer.
